2023 - Winnipeg Remand Centre Entrance Upgrades

Scope of work: Involves replacing the existing exterior windows and doors in the Lobby, adding anti-ram planters to improve security, and executing all associated work, materials, and procedures as indicated on the drawings and in the specifications. This includes rough carpentry, architectural woodwork, installation of insulation and air/vapour barriers, sheet metal flashing and trim, joint sealants, aluminum doors/frames/glazed screens, detention steel door/frame assemblies, swinging automatic entrances, detention windows, glazing, ceramic tiling, painting, miscellaneous specialties like metal guards and crash-rated planters, security drawers and pass-thru, entrance floor grilles, and necessary excavating, trenching, and backfilling.
